Hotel with food was very good, so that one did not have to leave.

complimentary breakfast was good. Desk personnel were personable. Bar and restaurant were a good value.
Utica is a barren city. It needs some TLC. The hotel is dated and could use some upgrades. But its history is evident and undeniable.

Staying here with a group of friends was awesome. We enjoyed the modern bar and the beautifully designed lobby. The rooms were clean and spacious. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a great spot for group trips.
I did have a rough experience with one staff member at the front desk. She didn't seem to understand what I was saying, frustrating.

The historic lobby offers a beautiful ambiance, and the staff provides friendly service. The absence of breakfast included with the stay feels like a missed opportunity for value. The lack of information about the building's history detracts from its charm, while some noise from events on lower floors may disrupt the experience.
